# Azure Monitor

Azure Monitor is a Microsoft cloud service that collects metrics and logs from Azure, on-premises and other-cloud resources into a Metrics or Logs platform for analysis, visualization and alerting. Application Insights and Log Analytics are now features of the service, and its AIOps capabilities use machine learning to reduce alert noise. Visualization options include Azure Workbooks and Azure Managed Grafana.
