# Google Cloud Build

Cloud Build is a Google Cloud service that executes builds on Google Cloud infrastructure. It imports source from Cloud Storage, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket and produces artifacts such as Docker containers or Java archives. Builds run as a series of steps, each in a Docker container, and can be started manually through the gcloud CLI or API or automatically by build triggers that respond to code changes.
