# Jules

Jules is an asynchronous coding agent from Google Labs. It connects to a GitHub repository, clones the code to a secure Google Cloud virtual machine, proposes a plan, and then carries out tasks such as bug fixes, tests, documentation and new features, returning a diff and a pull request. Google announced in October 2026 that Jules will wind down on December 31, 2026, becoming read-only on November 11, 2026, with its work folded into Antigravity.
