What to send
Identify the affected brand, product, category, prompt evidence page, or policy page. Describe the specific statement or field that appears wrong, the requested correction, and why. Include a public evidence URL when one is available and an email address where the review team can ask a focused follow-up question.
- The exact public URL and entity name.
- The current text or value and the proposed correction.
- A crawlable primary or authoritative source when possible.
- Any timing context, such as an acquisition, rename, pricing change, or corrected publication date.
How review works
A submitted request is stored as a correction record and creates a review task. It does not directly write to the public catalog. A reviewer checks the affected entity, source history, aliases, relationships, ranking evidence, and supplied source before deciding whether the public record should change.
Accepted corrections are applied through the controlled entity or publication path so derived pages and dates can be refreshed consistently. A request may be rejected when the evidence does not support it, the requested target is ambiguous, or the change would replace observed data with a marketing preference.
Timing and transparency
Requests are reviewed in the order and risk level appropriate to the issue. Slate Index does not publish a guaranteed response time. High-impact identity, legal, privacy, security, or materially misleading errors should be identified clearly in the subject line so they can be triaged appropriately.
An accepted material correction updates the affected public timestamp. Historical source and audit records may remain available internally for reproducibility and rollback rather than being silently erased.

Brand profile pages may expose a structured correction form when that feature is enabled. For any public page, email the monitored Slate support channel with the information above. Do not send passwords, payment information, private customer data, or other sensitive material as correction evidence.
